Feline Pregnancy Stages
Early Signs (Weeks 1-3)
You might not notice much. By week 3, her nipples may become pinker and enlarged ("pinking up"), which is often the first visible sign.
Middle Stage (Weeks 4-6)
Her belly starts to swell. Her appetite will increase significantly as she needs more calories to support the kittens. A vet can often feel the kittens or confirm via ultrasound now.
Final Stage (Weeks 7-9)
She may become less active. Movement of kittens might be visible. In the final days, she might become restless and start searching for a nesting spot. Appetite might drop 24 hours before labor.
